Hello! My name is Delta Goldstein.

I‘m an Associate Director specializing in Digital Marketing for Entertainment and Brand Socials. I also work closely with design teams to strategize creatives and execute practical elements. I'm detail oriented, innovative, and always positive. I get the most reward out of helping my team grow in their roles.

In my free time I like to craft, bake, and make travel videos with my husband and dog.

Accomplishments

Worked on over 80 films and brands in five years across all genres including franchise titles like The Hunger Games and Fifty Shades.

For over three years, I’ve worked as a Supervisor and Associate Director providing team leadership and training for new and ongoing employees. I built a social media training program for DMM and led over 98 internal and client trainings in 2019, totalling over 400 participants. I also created devision wide resources which included templates, best practices, and company guidelines.

Training & Team Leadership

Participated in interviewing, hiring, and training of new members of the team. For over three years, managed a team of five to eight people with up to seven active campaigns at a time. Provided training, guidance, and worked one-on-one to create a growth plan for them and help them work towards their goals.

Divisional Best Practices

Set up division wide Google Drive which contained resources for the divisional best practices. This included gathering company rules and regulations into one location, templatizing campaign docs for each studio, and gathering up best practices across platforms into a single location.

Business Development

Facilitated relationships and business development with multiple high profile clients including capabilities presentations, business lunches, and weekly calls. Acted as the dedicated contact and oversaw all projects coming from Lionsgate, CBS, Focus Features, and Universal.

Strategy

Facilitated script reads and screening for the team. Led brainstorms to strategize the best way to promote the film including everything from social messaging concepts, UGCs, talent requests, digital stunts, and large scale activations including Facebook Lives and produced videos.

Proposals

Created a structured campaign wide strategy with concepts organized into key phases. Designed and executed the Proposal in a keynote as well as worked with the internal design team to create mood boards and sample creatives. Polished and submitted proposals and worked with the client to get them approved at the onset of each campaign.  

Campaign Management

 

A 360 degree approach to campaign management from conception and creation to execution and beyond. I’ve worked closely with multiple studio clients to create and facilitate customized social campaigns that include a variety of executions such as: custom tone and community management strategy, live executions, video production, crafting and DIY tutorials, and award show coverage.

Community Management

Wrote copy for projects of all genres from indie to Franchise sized executions. Scripted out Facebook bots, character social takeovers, and scripts for talent to capture on press day. Engaged with fans of all ages across socials and ran sweepstakes, UGCs, and giveaways.

Tone and Voice Guides

Created custom tone and voice guides for projects that needed extra consideration to target a specific audience. Ensured that these guides were applied across the campaign by my team to ensure quality and consistency of page’s engagement with fans.


 

Video Scripting and Production

Directed the production team in the creation of custom videos, including this example from My Little Pony. Wrote out a shot by shot script, facilitated partnerships with vendors, and approved ingredients and props. 

Once all elements were approved but the studio, I participated in the filming of the video with my arms and hands and oversaw the editing process to assure quality of the piece. I also created a debut strategy and supplementary content to push awareness of the piece across socials.

Live Activations

Strategized the best use of the Live feature across platforms and launched multiple executions for projects such as Fifty Shades Darker, Chaos Walking, Jigsaw, and this example from Power Rangers.

This was a first of its kind execution where fans reacted to unlock the final trailer, which earned over three million engagements and got new outlets talking for weeks afterwards.

Other Live activations have included streaming live content of the talent through Facetime paired with project branding, a countdown to release on a key date such as 50 Days to Fifty Shades, and a revolutionary 24 hour live stream for the Jigsaw release.

Arts and Crafts

Beyond strategy and content conceptualization, I personally enjoy getting my hands dirty with DIY tutorials and other crafty executions. This example from Baywatch featuring a portrait of The Rock made from rock heart candy was inspired by the trend of creating candy portraits, and was themed to Valentine’s Day It took me four hours to create and was one of the highest performing graphics in the campaign. 

Other examples include kids crafts and baking tutorials and hair and fashion DIY styles.

Red Carpet Coverage

As part of the 360 degree management, my team and I have provided social coverage for multiple red carpet premieres.

We’ve participated in person on the carpet capturing photos, video, and live streaming to socials. We’ve also served as home-base at the office to be posting captured content in real time.

Paid Ads and Analytics

Created and strategized Paid Media key beats, suggested creative and copy, and set up ads on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat. I am familiar with their best practices and used social listening and analytics to support suggestions for surroundings and additional media targeting. 

With each project provided analytics, social listening, and real time strategy updates at the studio’s preferred interval. I created multiple reporting formats for studio clients tailored towards their objectives such as engagement and reach versus ticketing and link clicks to purchase. Oversaw all of my team’s reports and strategy updates over the course of the campaign.

Studio Embedded Consultant

While embedded on site at Lionsgate Studios for six months, as my primary role, I put together engagement and sustain strategies for all cataloged titles, launched multiple Home Entertainment titles and supervised all campaigns as agency of record, and provided in depth reporting and analytics for current and catalog campaigns.

In addition, I implemented a new system of best practices and organization for the Home Entertainment department to better work with our agency.

Responsibilities: Selected finalists from over a hundred entries. Edited each piece and submitted to author for final draft. Redesigned and formatted layout of magazine. Aided in publicity and sales. 

Awards and Accomplishments

Scholarship: Four time recipient of the Sausalito Women’s Club scholarship for Academic Excellence

Charity Work: Active volunteer in the National Charity League from 2002 - 2008 doing work with Special Olympics, Coastal Cleanup, Marine Mammal Center, Meals of Marin, and more. Received the award for over 100 hours volunteered in one year.
